Global Partnerships for Excellence in Education, Research, and Service (Global PEERS) is a non-profit organization designated by the US IRS as a 501(c) 3 organization.  The directors, advisors, consultants, and leadership include representatives from healthcare, education, public health, as well as people living with HIV/AIDS.

We would like to add our voices of support for the work you are doing to alleviate the suffering from HIV/AIDS in Africa.  Each day we were in Africa with the Computers for Africa project, we saw and heard about the effects of this terrible disease – someone’s auntie, someone’s mother, someone’s brother had just died.  Death has almost become a way of life.

In spite of this and so many other hardships, the African people were outstanding examples of generosity, hospitality, and courage.  They were an inspiration to both Tim and I.  Thank you for all the work you do on their behalf, and all your work to give African people the resources they need to fight this scourge.
